These systems are critical for maintaining environmental control and operational reliability. Responses are due May 1, 2026.
Scope of Work
The HVAC systems at CFA-608 and CFA-609 are past their useful life and rely on outdated fuel oil-powered steam boilers. The work includes:
- CFA-608:
- Replace existing steam boiler with an electric boiler.
- Install a global building controller for site-wide network integration.
- Maintain existing 100% outside air unit and six heating-only fan coils.
- CFA-609:
- Replace existing steam boiler (from 1985) with an equivalent electric boiler.
- Replace pneumatic multizone air handling unit (AHU) controls with modern equivalents.
- Maintain DX coil for cooling and steam coil for heating.
- Replace three unit heaters (UH-1: 30,650 BTU/HR; UH-2 & UH-3: 44,109 BTU/HR each).
- Install a global building controller for site-wide network integration.

Submission & Evaluation
