Scope of Work
The contractor shall provide comprehensive aerial lift training over three days (May 27th, 28th, and 29th, 2026), for 10 personnel each day (30 total). The training will utilize the Coast Guard Base Alameda's aerial lift and must include:
- Classroom Training: A minimum of one hour daily, covering Safety, Mishap Prevention, Operations, Emergency Response, and Best Practices.
- Hands-On Training: A minimum of five hours daily, focusing on Equipment Familiarization, Pre-Use Inspections, Safety Equipment, Moving Aerial Lifts on base, Working Aloft, Emergency Response, Stowing, Post-Use Inspection, and trainee evaluation.
- Post-Training: Provision of Proof of Training/Certification and accessibility of all presentation materials for trainees' future reference.
Substitutions for the outlined services will not be accepted. The training will be held at Coast Guard Island, 1 Eagle Road, Alameda, CA 94501. A classroom with a TV and HDMI access will be provided; however, WiFi or wired internet will not be available. Instructor names must be provided by May 22nd, 2026, for base access.
