Statement of Work (SOW)

To perform a complete renovation of the main kitchen at the U.S. Consul General Residence (Villa Mirador) in Casablanca, Morocco. The work must comply with historic preservation standards as the Residence is a designated cultural heritage property.

The contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, materials, equipment, permits, and incidentals for the kitchen renovation. Key tasks include:

• Protection of Existing Conditions: Implement a program to protect historic features and collections, including preconstruction surveys, coordination with Cultural Heritage office, dust/vibration control, and repair of any damage.
• Demolition and Removal: Selective demolition of existing kitchen elements (cabinets, counters, appliances, finishes, MEP components) as indicated, with careful protection of elements to remain.
• Architectural and Structural Work: New nonstructural partitions, interior doors, plaster/skim coat finishes, and localized supports.
