Evaluation
The Government intends to negotiate with only one source, Advanced Torque Products, under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, "Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements." Advanced Torque Products was contracted by the CH-53K Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) to design and develop this Support Equipment. They are the OEM for these items, hold proprietary data and drawing rights, and have indicated no intention of selling these rights or authorizing distributors.
