Justification
The Government intends to negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, "Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements." Davis Aircraft Products Co. Inc. is identified as the sole developer, designer, and manufacturer of the required clamp, owning proprietary data and possessing unique knowledge and expertise. The Government does not have the technical data or equipment to obtain this item from an alternate source.
