Sole Source Justification
The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only Saginaw Products Corporation under the authority of FAR 6.103-1, "Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements." Saginaw Products Corporation is identified as the sole developer, designer, and manufacturer of the required item, possessing proprietary data and unique expertise. The Government does not have the technical data or equipment to obtain this item from an alternate source.

While this is not a request for competitive proposals, the Government will consider all information received prior to the closing date. A determination by the Government not to compete this procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
