This is a solicitation for competitive proposals for a construction project to repair approximately 40 linear feet of damaged chain link fence at the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) Western Fisheries Research Center (WFRC) in Seattle, WA. The project involves the complete removal and replacement of the damaged fence section.

• Removal and disposal of the existing WW2-era chain link fence.

• Installation of a new 7-foot high, 9-gauge galvanized chain link fence with 3-strand barbed wire topping.

• Materials must be new, first-quality galvanized steel conforming to specified dimensions (7-foot height, 9-gauge fabric, 1-5/8 inch top rail, 2-3/8 inch line posts, 2-7/8 inch terminal posts).

• Posts must be set in concrete footings at a minimum depth of 36 inches, with spacing not exceeding 10 feet on center.

• Site inspection required within 5 days of notice to proceed.

• Coordination with facility management for work hours and security protocols.

• Compliance with OSHA standards, local/state regulations, and underground utility locate requirements.

• Contract Type: Firm, Fixed Price.

• Period of Performance: Upon notice to proceed through project completion (estimated 03/30/2026 to 05/31/2026).

• Estimated Magnitude: Up to $10,000.00.

• Offerors must demonstrate technical capability, capacity, experience, and past performance.

• A work plan (max 20 pages) is required.

• Evaluation Factor: Lowest Price Technically Acceptable.

• Offerors must be registered contractors in the State of Washington.

• This acquisition is set-aside exclusively for small businesses.

This document is a "Release of Claims" form required by the United States Geological Survey. It is used in conjunction with a request for final payment under a contract.
