The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers – New England District is issuing a Solicitation Notice for a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) to provide an indefinite quantity of Chemical Vegetation Control Services to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers project sites located throughout the Naugatuck River Basin in Connecticut to include the following locations: Black Rock Lake Project Office in Thomaston; Colebrook River Lake Project Office, Colebrook; Goshen Radio Relay Station, Goshen; Hop Brook Lake Project Office and Recreation Area, Middlebury; Hancock Brook Lake, Plymouth, Naugatuck River Area Office, Middlebury; Northfield Brook Lake, Thomaston, Stamford Hurricane Barrier Office, Stamford; and Thomaston Dam Project Office, Thomaston, CT.

THE WORK CONSISTS OF: The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and transportation necessary to provide Chemical Vegetation Control Services needed for each BPA call under the agreement.

The period of performance of the resulting agreement will be 36 months from the date of award.  The BPA Master Limit is $250,000; where no single BPA Call may exceed $25,000 in total cost.

In accordance with FAR 13.303-3(a)(2), the Government is obligated only to the extent of authorized purchases actually made under the BPA.

This procurement is set-aside for small business vendors. The applicable NAICS code is 561730 with a Small Business Size Standard of $9.5 Million.

ALL VENDORS MUST HAVE AN ACTIVE REGISTRATION IN SAM.GOV AT THE TIME OF SUBMISSION IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED. ANY VENDOR THAT DOES NOT HAVE AN ACTIVE SAM.GOV REGISTRATION WILL BE REJECTED AS NON RESPONSIVE.
