Statement of Work (SOW)

To provide preventative maintenance and filter exchange for the existing Siemens Water De-chlorination and Deionization Purification System at the Hollings Marine Laboratory (HML). The system provides clean water for scientific research and experiments.

• Provide preventative maintenance, filter exchanges, and service calls for the Siemens Water De-Chlorination and Deionization Purification System at HML.

• Demonstrate competency and experience in the maintenance of these systems.

• Furnish necessary personnel, materials, equipment, and services.

• Include scheduled carbon tank exchanges.

• Contractor must be competent, experienced, trained, and knowledgeable in De-chlorination and Deionization Systems.

• Maintenance must be performed by factory-trained, skilled, professional technicians.

• Sufficient personnel must be assigned to ensure rapid response and backup, with service calls responded to within 24 hours of notification.

• Provide all equipment, preventative maintenance, and delivery of required tank exchanges on a bi-monthly and semi-annual schedule.

• Provide and maintain the water supply hose for all required stations.

• 3.6 cf Carbon Exchange Tanks (Part Number DICAR0360FS P): 5 units, exchanged every 6 months (Total 10 exchanges).

• 3.6 cf Mixed Bed Tanks (Part Number DICAR0360FS P): 3 units, exchanged every 2 months (Total 18 exchanges).

• Base Year: 08/01/2026 – 07/31/2027

• Four one-year option periods: 08/01/2027 – 07/31/2031

• Contractor must be licensed and able to do business in South Carolina.

• Work must comply with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations.

• Work must be consistent with the agency's environmental management system (EMS) policies and objectives.

• IT Security: Assessment and Authentication (A&A) requirements and Security Accreditation Package are not required as the contractor will not access system resources.

• Guarantee of Work: Contractor must remedy any defects caused by poor workmanship or materials at their own expense.
