Quick Summary
This document is a Justification for Other Than Full and Open Competition (JOFOC) published by DLA Land and Maritime for the acquisition of 26 Circuit Card Assemblies (NSN/P/N: 5998-01-411-3042) for the Patriot Missile System. This acquisition is restricted to Raytheon (CAGE: 05716) as the sole approved source.
Purpose & Scope
The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) requires spare parts that are form, fit, and functionally interchangeable with those currently used on the Patriot Missile System. Specifically, 26 units of the Circuit Card Assembly (NSN/P/N: 5998-01-411-3042) are needed.
Contract Details
The acquisition is structured as a Firm-Fixed Price contract for a fixed quantity of 26 units, with no option years. Estimated base and maximum contract values are redacted.
Set-Aside / Restriction
This is a sole-source acquisition, justified under 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(1), implemented by FAR 6.302-1 (AMC 3), which permits acquiring items for the second or subsequent time directly from the manufacturer. Market research conducted on January 28, 2025, and a Sources Sought Notice posted on SAM.gov on the same date, identified Raytheon as the only known source capable of furnishing the required supplies, with no responses from other vendors.
