Statement of Work (SOW) / Performance Work Statement (PWS)

To perform recurring sand management services necessary to maintain safe visitor access and reduce excessive sand accumulation along the O'Shaughnessy Seawall and adjacent public access areas at Ocean Beach, Golden Gate National Recreation Area.

• Mechanical relocation of beach sand away from the O'Shaughnessy Seawall.

• Sand redistribution: minimum 300 feet from stairwells 1-10 and minimum 400 feet from stairwells 10-15, graded to a uniform, flat grade.

• Services include mobilization and operation of heavy equipment suitable for beach environments, maintaining grading tolerances, establishing visitor safety controls, providing environmental protection, daily housekeeping, and coordination with the COR.
