Additional Notes
NIAID has implemented a Determination of Exceptional Circumstances for preclinical service contracts, requiring a fee-for-service model. Contractors may be required to assign intellectual property filed on third-party materials or new processes/products developed relating to Provider Materials. Public release of results will be delayed until NIAID and the Provider have reviewed and filed patents. While proprietary reagents and processes may be proposed, NIAID and the Provider reserve the right to reject their use.
