The Government hereby submits a notice of intent to award a sole source contract to Joint Accreditation c/o ACPE for payment of the Agency’s annual CSC Joint Accreditation recertification fees and associated services requirement. The purpose and function of the Indian Health Service (IHS) is to provide comprehensive health care services to American Indians and Alaska Natives (AI/AN) through the IHS hospital and clinic system. The IHS seeks professional support to maintain and improve these services through consistent and current professional accreditation, etc. The Joint Accreditation for Interprofessional Continuing Education is the first and only accrediting body in the world to offer the opportunity to be simultaneously accredited to provide CE activities for multiple healthcare professions through a single, unified application process, fee structure, and set of accreditation standards.
The period of performance for this effort will be a 12-month BASE period with four (4) 12-month option periods. This sole source contracting action is being pursued under the authority of FAR 6.103-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.
