The DLA-Aviation is issuing this sources sought as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in and the resources to support this requirement for one (1) Computer Numerically Controlled (CNC) Punch/Fiber Laser Combination Machine.  The machine will need to supplied with turnkey services for:  Shipping, Conveyance/Offloading/Rigging, Tooling, Technical Data (e.g. manuals/drawings), Training, Installation, and foundation.  The CNC Punch/Fiber Laser Combination Machine requires program/maintenance support laptops and accesories  to be provided.  These laptops & accessories shall be the Dell Computers brand.   The maintenance laptop may require Siemens Step 7 software, but this will be finalized following the outcome of this sources sought.  A computer workstation will be required for the laptop.   The current requirement is for One (1) Vidmar Type A-1 Straight workstation with one (1) 1-SEP1023AL cabinet, one (1) BL1751 bench leg, and one (1) HT60 hardwood top.  The customer may be willing to accept an altenrate work station.  This too will be finished following the outcome of the sources sought.

Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.

Submission Instructions: Interested parties should submit a response to this Sources Sought Notice by closing date and time listed on SAM.gov. All responses under this Sources Sought Notice must be emailed to AVN IPE Market Research at AVNIPEMarketResearch@dla.mil. Email subject line must include ATTN: 26-30-1400. Responses should be not exceed ten (10) one-sided 8.5 x 10 inch pages with a font that is no smaller than 10 point as this is not a request for a proposal but only a request for submission of a vendor's capability to perform this requirement. Telephone inquiries will not be accepted or acknowledged, and no feedback or evaluations will be provided to companies regarding their submissions.
