Scope of Work
This combined synopsis/solicitation (RFQ N6660426Q0138) seeks to procure specific fused silica lenses. The samples will be used for biofouling analysis to characterize the nature of biofouling. Key requirements include:
- CLIN 0001 & 0002: Nine (9) each of 4-inch diameter, 7980 Standard Grade Fused Silica lenses. CLIN 0001 is uncoated, and CLIN 0002 requires AR coating on both surfaces with specified transmission and LIDT.
- CLIN 0003 & 0004: Nine (9) each of 1-inch diameter, 7980 Infrared (IR) Grade Fused Silica lenses. CLIN 0003 is uncoated, and CLIN 0004 requires AR coating on both surfaces with specified transmission and LIDT.
- All lenses require specific precision tolerances for diameter (+0.000/-0.025 mm), thickness (+/- 0.050 mm), surface roughness, parallelism, and clear aperture. Chamfer tolerance is commercial (+0.000/-0.100 mm).
