The material must meet the requirements specified on drawing number 6831545-002, CAGE 53711 REV H. A critical requirement is a 24-month, non-extendible shelf-life, with not less than 85% shelf-life remaining at the time of receipt by the Government. Manufacturing, marking (MIL-STD-130, MIL-STD-1285, MIL-STD-454, MIL-P-15024/5), configuration control (MIL-STD-973), quality assurance, and packaging (MIL-STD 2073) must adhere to specified military standards. Award for controlled items (OD36190) will only be made to listed vendors; substitute items require prior testing and approval from the PCO.
