NSWC PHD Code 104 intends to award a fixed-price base plus three option years service contract. The primary objective of this procurement is to procure 10GbE commercial circuit, Public DNS, Public domain, SSL Certificate, and Cisco CCIE Engineering Professional services. RX3 Communications Inc. is the current provider of the commercial internet circuit serving the guest Wi-Fi network under existing contract N6339424P0041. A new vendor would require a comprehensive survey of our existing network infrastructure to understand our current cabling pathways and equipment capabilities. Therefore, Code 104 requests sole source type contract. To support the 10GbE bandwidth, a new vendor would require the installation of new network equipment (e.g. Routers/switches) to support the 10GbE bandwidth and integrate with their network infrastructure. The domain is required to purchase the Guest Wi-Fi public certificate so it can allow guest users to connect to RDT&E Guest Wi-Fi. The intended use is to have guest users visiting PHD to connect to Guest Wi-Fi from their personal laptops/mobile phones as well as their GFE. Without wi-fi capability, quest users cannot connect to the internet.
This is a Base Year purchase of a four-year contract which includes Base Year and three Option Years.
