Quick Summary

The Department of the Air Force, AFLCMC C3IAK, has issued a Sources Sought notice for Combat Coder Site Support. This RFI seeks information from contractors capable of providing a dedicated software engineering team to design, engineer, test, integrate, deploy, and sustain software capabilities for the Distributed Common Ground System (DCGS) enterprise. The primary objective is the continuous delivery of secure, high-quality, and mission-effective software that rapidly responds to emerging DCGS intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) requirements. Responses are due by July 16, 2026.

Scope of Work

This effort requires full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) support within a DevSecOps framework, utilizing Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban). Key activities include developing resilient software applications on platforms like Maven Smart Systems, ArcGIS, Dagster, and Apache Airflow, maintaining source code in government-provided GitLab, and ensuring code passes peer reviews and automated security checks (zero new critical/high vulnerabilities, minimum 80% unit test coverage). The contractor will also provide 24/7 software sustainment and incident response for the DCGS production environment.
