Quick Summary

The Department of the Air Force / Space Systems Command (SSC), on behalf of the NORAD Cheyenne Mountain Complex-Integrated Tactical Warning/Attack Assessment (NCMC-ITW/AA) Program Office, has issued a Request for Information (RFI) for the Combatant Commanders Integrated Command and Control System (CCIC2S) Service Life Extension Program (SLEP). This RFI seeks industry input on modernizing the CCIC2S infrastructure. Responses are due July 20, 2026, at 14:00 Mountain Daylight Time.

Purpose & Scope

This RFI is for market research and planning purposes only; it is not a solicitation. The NCMC-ITW/AA Program Office is evaluating modernization pathways for CCIC2S, a critical system providing continuous missile warning and threat assessment to North America. The goal is to ensure sustained operational relevance and enhanced mission responsiveness.

Industry is asked to provide information on capabilities related to four key levels of effort for CCIC2S modernization:

  • Modernization of Operational Architecture
  • Modernization for Development Architecture
  • Integrated Enhanced Capabilities for warfighter needs (air, missile, space threats, GUI)
  • Enhanced Next-Generation Cyber Operations and Capabilities

Additionally, recommendations on acquisition strategies for rapid, multi-tranche capability delivery are sought.

Desired Information

Respondents should address technical risks, critical dependencies, levels of effort (LOEs), integration methodologies, conceptual schedules, programmatic risks, marketplace support, partnerships, financing, intellectual property (IP), data rights, and experience with C2 systems, missile warning, and tactical surveillance. Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) estimates are also requested.
