Scope of Work
This project involves three distinct components:
- Billings USMS - Cellblock Refresh: Restoration of stainless steel benches and walls (scratch removal), and painting of cellblock doors and doorframes. A walk-through is required to verify exact damage locations.
- Bozeman FSA - Office Build-Out: Construction of a new wall with metal studs, installation of a matching door and frame, extension of the wall to the deck above, and installation of matching baseboard. Electrical receptacles will be added if required by code, carpet repaired/replaced, the entire room painted with low VOC paint, affected ceiling grid repaired, fire sprinklers relocated, and HVAC ceiling penetrations moved as needed.
- Bozeman FWS - Freezer HVAC: Installation of a heat removal system for ultra-low temperature freezers to maintain room temperature between 64.4°F to 89.6°F. Contractors must investigate and propose a solution, which could be a new exhaust system with fresh air supply duct, or a ductless split-system AC unit with fresh air supply.
General Requirements include providing all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision; complying with applicable codes and standards; submitting a detailed cost breakdown and proposed solutions; maintaining OSHA and GSA safety standards; coordinating access during business hours; and requiring HSPD-12 badges.
