Scope of Work
The contractor will provide on-site mobile imaging services for the incarcerated Adult in Custody (AIC) population at FMC Lexington. Key requirements include:
- Performing Ultrasounds, Doppler Ultrasounds, and Echocardiography.
- Sonographers must be registered (RDMS, RDVT, RDCS, RCS) and hold current CPR certification.
- Providing professional interpretations, reports, and live images within 48 hours of service.
- Immediate notification to FMC Lexington Health Services for any abnormalities.
- Contractor responsibility for all equipment, software, transportation, delivery, setup, maintenance, staff training, and staffing.
- Uploading live images to Power Share/PACS Imaging System or similar.
- Ensuring personnel adhere to institution security regulations, are free of communicable diseases, and have required yearly health screenings (TST/chest x-rays, annual FLU vaccinations).
- All contract personnel must complete a background investigation.
- Contractor must be registered and licensed in Kentucky, with a preference for Joint Commission accreditation and/or ARDMS/CCI credentialing.
- Physicians interpreting radiology studies must be board-certified.
