Statement of Work (SOW) / Performance Work Statement (PWS)

To provide comprehensive commercial kitchen exhaust system and ceiling cleaning services for the 88th Medical Group Nutritional Medicine Flight at Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio. The goal is to ensure operational readiness, maintain a safe and sanitary environment, and prevent fire hazards.

• Cleaning of kitchen hoods, ducts, exhaust fans, and ceilings.

• Services must conform to applicable standards from OSHA, The Joint Commission (TJC), FDA Food Code, and NFPA.

• Cleaning to "bare metal" standard for exhaust systems.

• Protection of kitchen equipment during cleaning.

• Restoration of the work area to its original condition upon completion.

• All hoods, devices, ducts, and other appurtenances must be cleaned to bare metal to ensure maximum fire protection.

• Performance must be 100% in accordance with NFPA 96 standards.

• Visual surveillance by the Nutritional Medicine Flight representative will be conducted.

• Re-performance of non-conforming services may be required at no increase in contract price.

• Place: Nutritional Medicine Flight kitchen, Building 830, 4881 Sugar Maple Dr, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, 45433.

• Period of Performance: One base year (10 August 2026 – 09 August 2027) plus four (4) one-year option periods.

• Hours of Operation: Monday through Friday, 0600 to 1600, excluding Federal holidays. Services outside these hours require coordination.

• Contractor personnel must be trained and certified in kitchen exhaust cleaning per NFPA 96.

• Contractor must have a minimum of five (5) years of corporate experience in cleaning commercial kitchen exhaust systems.

• Contractor personnel must wear identification badges.

• Contractor must provide a Contract Manager.

• Safety emphasis on ladder safety and working in high locations, complying with OSHA and WPAFBI 32-2001.

• Contractor is responsible for tools and materials; government will provide escort for facility access.

• Cleaning of ceilings using non-abrasive, food-safe cleaners meeting NFPA and OSHA standards.

• Reporting of worn or defective components to the facility POC (no repairs by contractor).

• Labeling of cleaned areas with service date and company name per NFPA 96.

• Invoicing through Wide Area Workflow (WAWF).
