Quick Summary
The Space Acquisition and Integration Office (SAIO), on behalf of the 21st Communications Squadron (21 CS) under Space Operations Command (SpOC) at Peterson SFB, CO, is conducting market research for the Communications, Network, Engineering, Cybersecurity, and Information Technology Services (CNECTS) contract, also known as "Connects." This effort explores consolidating several existing communications contracts across Peterson SFB, Schriever SFB, and Cheyenne Mountain SFS. The government is seeking industry input for an upcoming Industry Day and RFI responses.
Purpose & Scope
This is a Request for Information (RFI) to gather industry input for an Industry Day and to assess commercial services for mission-critical IT systems in secure environments. The CNECTS contract aims to consolidate services previously covered by contracts such as Base Operating Support-Information Technology (BOS-IT), Cheyenne Mountain SFS 21 CS Communications Contract, and Wing Information & Communications Support (WICS). The PEDS PWS workload has been absorbed by the BIMS contract and removed from CNECTS.
Key services sought include:
- Engineering IT solutions for secure mission systems.
- Customer service for mission-critical networks.
- Planning and executing future solutions for secure communications networks.
- Developing and executing cybersecurity plans, including Risk Management Framework (RMF) management.
- Operational support for IT systems in isolated and secure environments.
- New additions to CNECTS include Technical Control Facility Support at PSFB, Client Systems Technician/Help Desk, Network Switch install, Zero Client install/mnx, Executive Comm, Cable TV mnx/install, and Printer management & Touch Mnx at PSFB.
