Scope of Work
The contractor will perform non-destructive scanning to identify embedded items such as reinforcing steel, post-tension cables, electrical conduits, mechanical piping, embedded anchors, plates, voids, or anomalies within cast-in-place concrete, walls, beams, columns, CMU, and precast elements. The primary purpose is to reduce risk prior to blind penetrations like drilling, coring, or cutting, supporting safe construction and maintenance activities. Services will be performed on an as-needed basis, coordinated with Argonne's technical representative, and may include short-notice or emergency requests. Deliverables include field sketches, photographs, annotated drawings, and summary reports.

Evaluation & Submission
Award will be based on the Lowest Price, Technically Acceptable (LPTA) methodology. Proposals must include:
- A signed copy of the ANL-70 RFQ document.
- A fully executed copy of the ANL-70A Reps & Certs document.
- A completed Appendix C - Price Schedule, detailing labor rate, hour minimum per visit, and other costs.
Key Requirements & Terms
This contract will be governed by ANL-528 Terms and Conditions for Labor Hour and Time and Materials Contracts. Contractors must also adhere to ANL-366M Moderate Risk On-Site Supplemental Conditions, which cover approval to proceed, indemnity, insurance requirements (General Liability, Automobile Liability, Professional Liability, Worker's Compensation), and comprehensive Environment, Safety, and Health (ES&H) protocols. Compliance with all applicable Argonne, OSHA, ESH, and DOE safety requirements is mandatory, including providing trained and experienced technicians and appropriate equipment.
