Scope of Work

• Internal surface preparation, including abrasive blasting to SSPC-SP10 / NACE No. 2 minimum.
• Surface restoration to repair pitting and irregularities using epoxy.
• Application of a two-coat high-build immersion-rated coating system with a minimum total dry film thickness (DFT) of 20 mils.
• Conducting inspections (DFT readings, holiday detection, defect repair) and providing comprehensive documentation.
• Proposed coating systems must meet performance requirements, with no proprietary products specified.
• Work is to be performed by the contractor's direct employees; subcontracting is not preferred.

• A completed ANL-70B Representation and Certifications (Long Version) form, including business organization details, small business classifications, NAICS code, and various FAR clause certifications.
• A Certificate of Insurance.
• Review and acceptance of the ANL-71 COM Terms and Conditions, which detail standard contractual clauses including cybersecurity, disputes, and site access.
• Review and acceptance of the ANL-366H Supplemental Onsite Terms, which outline stringent "High Risk" requirements for work at Argonne, covering indemnity, mandatory insurance (General Liability, Auto, Professional, Worker Comp), extensive Environment, Safety, and Health (ES&H) compliance (e.g., 10 CFR 851, OSHA, Job Safety Analysis), site access protocols, and a disciplinary program.
• Review of the Statement of Work (SOW).
• Applicators must be manufacturer-trained or certified, and a minimum five (5) year performance warranty against coating failure is required.
• Pre-mobilization submittals (work plan, coating data sheets, SDS, QC plan) and deliverables (daily reports, final completion report, warranty certificate) are mandatory.
