ATTENTION BIDDERS!!!!! The information provided in the Solicitation under FAR Clause 52.236-27 SITE VISIT (CONSTRUCTION) (FEB 1995) – ALTERNATE I provides erroneous information pertaining to the scheduled Site Visit date. Subparagraph (b) states that that an an organized Site Visit has been scheduled for Thursday, 13 April 2025. This clause should have stated Thursday, 10 April 2025. A solicitation amendment is forthcoming to correct this error.

SYSTEM FOR AWARD MANAGEMENT (SAM) REGISTRATION: Offerors shall have and shall maintain an active registration in the SAM database at http://www.sam.gov to be eligible for a Government contract award. Contractors must ensure that the applicable NAICS code 236220 is included in their profile prior to submission of offer. If the Offeror is a Joint Venture (JV), the JV entity shall have valid SAM registration in the SAM database representing the JV as one business/firm/entity. If at the time of award an Offeror is not actively and successfully registered in the SAM database, the Government reserves the right to award to the next prospective Offeror. The representations and certifications section in SAM are required to be updated annually as a minimum to keep information current, accurate and complete. The electronic annual representations and certifications are effective for one year from the date of initial submission and expire on an annual basis from the update to SAM.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
THE GOVERNMENT REQUIRES CONSTRUCTION FOR THE FOLLOWING DESIGN-BID-BUILD PROJECT:
This Design-Bid-Build contract will consist of a major military construction (MILCON) project to build a fire station at Youngstown Air Reserve Station located in Vienna, Ohio. The project includes construction of a 24,500 square foot, one-story facility including the foundation, floor slab, frame, roof, façade, stud and interior walls, interior finishes, heating, ventilation, air conditioning, electrical and communications systems. The facility will include drive through bays sized to current Aircraft Rescue and Fire fighting vehicle requirements and a sleep space sized to accommodate 22 beds. The project will further include paved parking and accessway, signage, lighting, and all necessary support work. Demolition of the existing fire station, building 415, a 9,365 square foot facility, is also required.
The Contract Duration is expected to be 790 days from Notice to Proceed.
