Purpose & Scope
HUD's Office of Multifamily Housing requires these services to support mortgage insurance underwriting and capital advance programs by providing field data for informed decision-making during construction and rehabilitation phases. The contractor will perform onsite inspections of new construction and substantial rehabilitation, review change orders, requisitions, and schedules, and conduct guarantee/warranty inspections. Services are required across five designated regions: Northeast, Southeast, Midwest, Southwest, and West, covering 50 states, Washington D.C., and Puerto Rico.
