Scope of Work

The requirement involves the procurement of various construction materials and the dry hire of heavy equipment for an eight-week period to support the repair and replacement of concrete equipment pads at RAAF Base Curtin.

Key Requirements include:

  • Heavy Equipment Rental (Dry Hire):
    • Wheeled Excavator (~14t) with smooth bucket, toothed bucket, plate compactor, and jackhammer attachments.
    • Wheeled Loader (~15t) with 1.8–3 m³ bucket.
    • Compact Track Loader (CTL) with bucket, fork lift, jack hammer, and sweeper/broom attachments.
    • Road Grader with a 12-18 foot blade.
    • Water Truck (10,000 – 14,000 liters capacity).
    • Dump Truck (5 m³ capacity, rear tipper/dump).
    • Equipment must be fully fueled upon delivery.
  • Construction Materials:
    • Rebar for MAAS/BAK-12 Pad and MRES/HWFB Pad (pre-bent, specific sizes/quantities, 923 rebar chairs).
    • 342 cubic meters (wet volume) of 300 PSI (20 MPa) concrete.
    • 549 cubic meters of 250-micron plastic sheeting (4-meter wide rolls).
    • 30 Gallons (113.6 Liters) of concrete cure (resin based).
    • 1 Gallon (3.8 Liters) of concrete bonding compound.
    • 398 Tons (439 Tonnes) of 3/4" Base Course Rock.
  • Industrial Waste Disposal: Provision of large dumpsters (6-9 m³) for scrap wood, demolished concrete, and rebar, including exchange and disposal.

All costs associated with responding to this Sources Sought are the sole responsibility of the interested party. Delivery and shipping costs must be included in any total price provided. Vendors should confirm if delivery by May 1, 2026, is possible. The contractor will be responsible for all associated delivery, mobilization, transport, recovery, demobilization, and disposal costs.
