Quick Summary
The Army Contracting Command – Redstone Arsenal intends to award a sole source Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract to General Electric-Aerospace (GE-A) for Contractor Field Service Representatives (CFSRs) supporting the T700 Series Engine. This presolicitation is based on the determination that GE-A is the only responsible source capable of satisfying agency requirements without substantial duplication of costs, as the Government does not possess a complete Technical Data Package (TDP) for the T700 series engine.
Scope of Work
This requirement is for highly specialized logistical and technical services for the General Electric (GE) T700 Series engines. CFSRs will provide on-site support at various OCONUS and CONUS activities and installations. Services must be delivered by factory-trained technicians fully qualified as CFSRs. The Government desires the vendor to maintain an office in the Huntsville, AL vicinity and requests that all software and hardware have, at a minimum, Government Purpose Rights (GPR).
