Statement of Work (SOW) / Performance Work Statement (PWS)

To replace the existing double-stack natural-gas convection oven at Isleta Elementary School with a new, high-efficiency, high-altitude-configured unit to restore reliable cooking capacity, reduce natural gas consumption, and eliminate serviceability risks.

• Furnish all labor, materials, supervision, tools, equipment, transportation, permits, insurance, quality control, testing, commissioning, training, and disposal necessary to remove and lawfully dispose of the existing oven and install a new double-stack natural-gas commercial convection oven.

• The new oven must be configured for high-altitude operation (approx. 4,885 ft AMSL).

• Work must conform to manufacturer's instructions and all applicable federal, State of New Mexico, and Pueblo of Isleta codes, standards, and protocols.

• No modifications to building systems, hood systems, fire-suppression systems, gas piping, or electrical capacity are authorized without written approval.

• Oven must meet specific salient characteristics including BTU/h rating, cavity size, electrical compatibility, material, rack configuration, blower performance, temperature control, timer, door configuration, stacking kit, and NRTL listing.

• Warranty: Manufacturer's standard warranty of not less than two (2) years on parts and labor; manufacturer's limited-lifetime warranty for the gas connector kit; Contractor's one-year warranty on workmanship, materials, and installation.

• Performance testing includes gas pressure and leak tests, operational tests from 150 °F to 500 °F with thermostat accuracy within ± 15 °F.

• Place of Performance: Isleta Elementary School, 1000 Moonlight Drive, Albuquerque (Pueblo of Isleta), New Mexico 87105.

• Period of Performance: Thirty (30) calendar days from Notice to Proceed (NTP). On-site installation shall not exceed three (3) consecutive working days unless approved by the Contracting Officer (CO).

• Applicable Codes: NFPA 54, NFPA 70, NFPA 96, NFPA 17A, NFPA 101, State of New Mexico codes, ANSI Z83.11, NSF/ANSI 4, OSHA 29 CFR 1910 & 1926, 40 CFR 61 Subpart M.

• Site Visit: Recommended but not required; coordinate 48 hours in advance.

• Pre-Construction: Attend meeting within seven (7) days of NTP. Verify utilities, branch circuits, hood fit, and document existing conditions.

• Submittals: Include cut sheets, calibration certificates, IOMs, NRTL listings, schedule of values, construction schedule, insurance certificates, safety plan, trade licenses, warranty statements, asbestos-free certification, and disposal plan.

• Work Hours: Preference for after-hours, weekend, or school-break scheduling. No interruption to student meal service without prior coordination and CO approval.

• Safety: Comply with OSHA, submit Safety Plan and AHA, use appropriate PPE, implement fall protection and LOTO procedures. Background investigation required if on-site duration exceeds three (3) days.

• Permits: Contractor shall obtain and pay for all required permits, licenses, inspections, and approvals.

• Closeout Deliverables: O&M manual, calibration certificate, warranty documents, test reports, operator training confirmation, photographic records, disposal receipts, red-line documentation, permits, and certified payrolls.
