Scope of Work
The contractor will provide full-service monthly chemical treatments to maintain critical pH, hardness, alkalinity, and conductivity levels, while minimizing microbial activity, corrosion, scaling, and fouling. Key tasks include:
- Initial onsite water testing and provision/maintenance of all necessary chemicals.
- Minimum of one service call per month, including application of products to retard scale and corrosion, and biocides.
- Checking, cleaning, and calibrating chemical feed, control, and water treatment equipment.
- Applying corrosion inhibitor to closed loops and providing laboratory analysis of water.
- Cleaning and refilling chemical tanks, maintaining chemical pumps, inspecting cooling towers, and cleaning Y-strainers.
- Cleaning and maintaining conductivity and pH control equipment, and replacing filters.
- Providing online service reporting, data trending, operator logs, and safety training.
- Guaranteeing the current operating efficiency of the cooling tower systems.
- Annual cleaning of scale, basins, and distribution nozzles.
