Scope of Work
The contractor will provide comprehensive monthly chemical treatments and maintenance for four cooling tower systems. Key services include initial water testing, provision and maintenance of necessary chemicals, a minimum of one service call per month, application of scale and corrosion retardants, biocide application, equipment calibration, corrosion inhibition for closed loops (up to 10% water loss), written reports, laboratory water analysis, cleaning and refilling chemical tanks, inspection of cooling towers, cleaning Y-strainers, maintaining conductivity and pH control equipment, and replacing filters. The contractor must also provide access to online service reporting and safety training. A guarantee of maintaining the present operating efficiency of the cooling tower systems, including annual scale cleaning, is required. Cleaning and flushing of closed loops are not included.
