Scope of Work
The contractor will provide all management, tools, supplies, equipment, and labor for the inspection, teardown, remanufacture, reassembly, and potential repair of three (3) Radiator part number 5101908, NIIN: 01-478-8141. All work must adhere to Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) standards and be performed at the contractor's facility.
Key tasks include:
- Washing, flushing, and pressure testing radiators for leaks.
- Estimating repair or core replacement, including new bolts, nuts, and gaskets.
- Removing corrosion and loose paint, performing corrosion control, and painting (gloss black).
- If the repair option is exercised, conducting a full overhaul including replacement of worn/missing parts to conform to OEM specifications.
- Packaging repaired units in their original crates, marked with part and serial numbers.
Deliverables
Respondents are required to provide:
- A capability statement for inspection and potential repair.
- A quote for the test and evaluation of each of the three radiators.
- A quote for shipping the radiators back to COMFRC.
If the repair option is exercised, the awardee will also provide:
- A document detailing the findings of the test and evaluation for each radiator.
- A repair quote for each radiator.
- A Certificate of Conformance for each repaired unit, stating "In accordance with manufacturers specs."
- Invoices and packing slips at the time of delivery.
- Shipping/transportation of repaired units back to COMFRC.
