CLIN 04 - MC420 Electrical Transmission and Distribution Modifications:

• Transmission Modifications: Realigning the 69kV Power Line, including clearing, grubbing, constructing foundations, installing poles and conductors, and an isolation switch. Contractor responsible for scheduling outages.
• Distribution Modifications: Extending the electrical distribution line to the new MC420 control building, including clearing, grubbing, installing wood poles, and conductors.

Work is located southwest of Parker, AZ. Key elements like radial gate installations are scheduled during the annual January dry-up periods (e.g., January 2028). Procurement of long-lead items is expected in 2026/2027. Construction of MC420 and canal realignment is expected throughout 2027, with completion during the January 2028 dry-up. Electrical transmission pole installation is expected in winter 2026/2027.

• Contractor must be familiar with hydraulic structures, earthwork, drilled shafts, overhead electrical lines, and large radial gates.
• Ability to work under challenging schedules and constraints, coordinate multiple elements, and react to unforeseen conditions.
• Work restrictions apply to regular irrigation operations, electrical transmission outages, and vegetation clearing.
