The work includes, but is not limited to, critical power systems and loads, encompassing design, procurement, installation, renovation, integration, replacement, alteration, technology refresh, troubleshooting, assessments/inspections, testing, technical documentation, maintenance, and repair to support facilities globally. Services may cover all project phases, from inception, design, system installation, and training to removal and disposal. Incidental construction activities may be required at the task order level.
Procurement Method: FAR Part 15 Contracting by Negotiation
The NAICS Code for this procurement is 238210 – Electrical Contractors and Other Wiring Installation Contractors and the annual size standard is $19.0.
The procurement is for a single award with a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) pricing structure. The contract term will be a base period of 60 months plus a six-month option. Only the base period of the contract will offer a minimum guarantee. If the Government does not award a follow-on contract in time, the Government may require the Contractor to continue performance for an additional period up to six months under the Option to Extend Services clause.
This contract will replace a contract for similar services awarded in 2021 for $53M. Information about the current contract and the incumbent contractors (e.g., value of last option exercised, firm name, address, etc.) will be included in the solicitation package. Requests under the Freedom of Information Act are not required for this information.
