Purpose

The Army is seeking to identify potential sources for the specified fence repair project. Not responding to this RFI does not preclude participation in any future RFQ.
Scope of Work
The project, titled "Clear and Repair Fenceline," involves furnishing all labor, equipment, materials, and expertise. Key tasks include:
- Demolition & Clearing: Clearing trees, brush, and vegetation from approximately 0.45 acres of perimeter areas. This includes removing damaged fencing (chain link, line posts, barbed wire) in Area 1, clearing vegetation and overhanging branches in Area 2, trimming low-hanging pine boughs in Area 3, and removing an existing cable and post barrier in Area 4. Proper disposal of all cleared debris and removed materials is required.
- Installation: Installing new fencing and components in Area 1, including approximately 480 feet of new chain link fabric, 6 new line posts with foundations (set 36" deep, 3000 psi concrete), and 480 feet of 3-strand barbed wire. Fencing must extend to within 2" of firm ground.
- Site Restoration: Re-seeding all areas damaged by work, including stump removals and brush removal within the ten-foot buffer zone.
- Cleanup: Daily cleanup of work areas and repair of any incurred damage, with off-site disposal of all contract-generated debris.

Special Requirements
