Scope of Work
The project involves the complete removal and disposal of the existing EPDM roof system, old cover boards, and original Built Up Roof (BUR) from the Jump Base Office. The contractor will then install a new EPDM roofing membrane system, including 3-inch PolyIso insulation with an integrated cover board, and replace metal facia and trim. Additional tasks include removing two radio antennas, salvaging and reattaching a Starlink antenna, and repairing water-damaged decking materials. An Option Item 1 covers the repair of an upper-level wall and window, including demolition, framing, insulation, sheetrock, siding, trim, and installation of two new windows. The contractor is responsible for all building measurements for bidding purposes.
Contract Details
This is a Firm Fixed-Price contract with an estimated magnitude between $100,000 and $250,000. The Period of Performance is 30 calendar days, with an estimated start in May 2026. Bid bonds (20%) are required if the quote exceeds $150,000, and 100% Performance and Payment Bonds are required for contracts over $150,000 (payment bond only for $35K-$150K). All work must comply with Davis-Bacon Act prevailing wage rates for Gallatin County, Montana.
Submission & Evaluation
Quotes must be submitted by March 24, 2026, 4:00 PM MT. Questions are due by March 19, 2026, 4:00 PM MT. Evaluation will be based on Experience and Past Performance, with award made to the quoter representing the best value to the Government (no formal trade-off).
