Scope of Work
This opportunity requires the design, manufacture, and delivery of a highly specialized 20-foot ISO container for lithium battery storage. Key requirements include:
- Fire Rating: 2-hour fire rated (ED22), UL DES U419 / MEA 81-98-M walls & ceilings Class 1, Division 2 Compliant, with a 1.5-hour bidirectional fire rate.
- Safety Systems: Fire suppression system suitable for Lithium Ion and Lithium Metal batteries, radiant-energy-sensing fire detection, external manual pull station, and an Explosion-Proof Enclosed Exhaust Fan.
- Environmental Control: Heating and cooling system to maintain interior temperature between 10°C and 30°C.
- Structural: 150mph wind force rating, 14-gauge corrugated steel, lockable and weatherproof construction, with specific dimensions (20' L x 8' W x 8.5' H exterior).
- Electrical: 220V, Single-Phase 50-amp electrical requirement with Marine Shore Power Inlet, and a static grounding system.
