Scope of Work

This includes draining coolant, removing and reinstalling components (valve cover, ECM, exhaust manifold, injectors, rocker arm assemblies, camshaft, cylinder head), cleaning, installing government-furnished gaskets and cylinder head, torquing to MTU requirements, adjusting valves and injector timing, and performing sea trials. A critical requirement is that all technicians must be certified MTU/Detroit Diesel Technicians with extensive official training for the specified engine series. The work will be performed at USCG Station Pensacola, FL. A Final Report/Service Completion Report is required upon completion.
