This is a notice of the Department of Veterans Affairs' intent to award a Firm Fixed Price Sole-Source contract for Alaris Infusion System server and software management services to CareFusion Solutions, LLC. The Orlando VA Medical Center requires these services.

The justification for this non-competitive award is that CareFusion LLC is the sole entity authorized to access its proprietary software and technology.

The services include:

• Internet, webinar, and on-site training and clinical education.
• Support, including remote monitoring of the Alaris Systems Manager and technical support for the Alaris Infusion System.
• Data collection and provision of analytics tools and services.

Note: Software enhancements do not include software updates or version upgrades to infusion device hardware.

• This notice is NOT a request for competitive quotes. No Solicitation will be issued.

• The Government will not pay for submitted information.

Market research indicates the product is highly specialized and only available from a single source without unacceptable delay or cost duplication. No other supply will satisfy agency requirements.
