Complete repair of the west breakwater located at the Dana Point Harbor. The work consists of replacing displaced armor stone
and resetting existing stone to interlock with the new stone. Approximately 45,000 cubic yards of sediment will be dredged for
access to the breakwater. All dredged material will be beneficially used as nearshore nourishment offshore of Doheny State
Beach.
Period of Performance: The total contract performance period is Three Hundred and Eight (308) calendar days after
receipt of Notice to Proceed (NTP).

Type of Contract: Firm-Fixed PriceEstimated Magnitude of Construction is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000.
A site visit will be scheduled, and the date/time/location will be provided in the solicitation.
The official Invitation for Bid (IFB) is anticipated to be issued on or about mid August 2025 via Contract Opportunities at
sam.gov and inviting firms to register electronically to receive a copy of the solicitation when it is issued.
Tentative bid opening date mid September 2025.
SYSTEM FOR AWARD MANAGEMENT (SAM) REGISTRATION REQUIREMENT: Offerors shall have and shall maintain an
active registration in the SAM database at http://www.sam.gov to be eligible for a Government contract award. If
the Offeror is a Joint Venture (JV), the JV entity shall have valid SAM registration in the SAM database representing
the JV as one business/firm/entity. If at the time of award an Offeror is not actively and successfully registered in the
SAM database, the Government reserves the right to award to the next prospective Offeror.
IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE CONTRACTOR TO CHECK THE DESIGNATED GOVERNMENT POINT OF ENTRY –
