Scope of Work
MCRC requires comprehensive testing and assessment of approximately 870 data drop ports within the USMC Marsh Building, Quantico, VA. Many of these ports are suspected to be non-operational, improperly labeled, or damaged. The selected contractor will provide all necessary labor, equipment, and expertise to:
- Verify operational status and connectivity of each data port.
- Identify and document damaged, inactive, improperly terminated, mislabeled, or otherwise deficient ports.
- Verify and document labeling accuracy.
- Provide detailed reporting of findings, deficiencies, and recommendations for corrective actions.
- Coordinate work with Government personnel to minimize disruption, potentially working after hours or weekends.
Deliverables include:
- A comprehensive inventory and status report of all tested data ports.
- A deficiency report identifying non-operational or damaged ports.
- Label verification documentation.
- Recommendations for repair, replacement, or corrective action.
- An Initial Assessment Report (PDF) within 10 business days of testing completion, detailing findings and recommendations.
