This includes plugging holes, reinstalling OEM equipment, and removing all law enforcement markings to return the vehicle to factory condition. Specific emergency equipment will be transferred to the new vehicle.
- Upfitting: Installation of comprehensive emergency equipment into a 2026 Ford F250. This includes a prisoner cage, console, wiring for radios and communications, GPS, 360-degree emergency lighting, storage racks, boxes, vaults, and other electronic systems. Specific installations include a Federal Signal Valor Bar, various LED lights, siren/light controller, two-way radio wiring, cell booster, AR-15/shotgun locks, and a power panel. BLM will provide certain items like the prisoner cage, front bumper, running boards, truck vault, and tonneau cover.
