This document is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items, prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information. The proposed action will be awarded in accordance with FAR 12 (Acquisition of Commercial Products and Commercial Services) and FAR 13 (Simplified Acquisition Procedures).

• The solicitation is for "Sun Xtender" brand batteries or equal.

• Specifically, it requests:

  • 150 EA of PVX-1290T Sun Xtender deep cycle battery (Product/Service Code: 6140).
  • 140 EA of PVX-340T Sun Xtender deep cycle battery (Product/Service Code: 6140).

• All items must be brand new; used or refurbished items will not be accepted.

• Offerors must specify the country of manufacture.

• Offerors must provide technical specifications that clearly explain how their offerings meet, exceed, or differ from the salient characteristics. Mere provision of technical specifications without direct comparison is insufficient.

• An addendum may be included with the submittal.

• The contract will be awarded to the responsible offeror whose quotation conforms to the solicitation and is most advantageous to the Government (USGS), considering price and other factors.

• The period of performance is not explicitly stated, but delivery is requested by 04/30/2026.

• Quotation Due Date: 03/09/2026 at 1700 PD.

• Offerors must complete and return FAR 52.204-24 and FAR 52.204-26.

• This solicitation is set aside for small businesses only.

• The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 335910 (Battery Manufacturing) with an associated size standard of 1,250 employees.

• Offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) at the time of quote submission.

• Offerors must provide their Unique Entity Identification (UEI) number.

• All amendments to the solicitation must be signed and included with the quote.
