Statement of Work (SOW) / Performance Work Statement (PWS)

To contain, demolish, and dispose of an abandoned air handler system that has been tested and confirmed to contain asbestos. The area where the air handler was located is to be sealed to prevent any possible entry.

• Demolition and disposal of an abandoned air handler system containing asbestos.

• Manifests for ACM disposal must be signed by the environmental Hazardous Waste Manager.

• A clearance test by a third-party inspector is required to ensure the area is decontaminated and safe.

• Disposal of contaminated material off-site must comply with EPA guidelines.

• Post abatement test results must be provided to the Project Manager/Contracting Officer Representative.
