Statement of Work (SOW) / Performance Work Statement (PWS)

To enhance safety and visibility along a 400-foot pedestrian walkway by installing new LED bollard lights, upgrading existing pole lights to LED, and repairing non-operational light poles.

• Install new LED bollard lights (8" round, 42" high, black finish, 4000K, 2000 lumens minimum) spaced approximately every 20 feet along the 400-foot walkway.

• Install new concrete bases for bollard lights (minimum 10" diameter, 2" above ground, 3000 PSI compressive strength, poured below frost line, smooth trowel finish with chamfered edges).

• Install rigid electrical conduit for cables, stubbed up in the center of each base.

• Conduct an open-trench inspection prior to backfilling conduit.

• Install a dusk-to-dawn photocell control system for new bollard lights.

• Repair two existing non-operational light poles.

• Install new conduit and wires connecting existing light poles to the junction box near Building 34.

• Replace bulbs in approximately 13 existing light poles with new LED bulbs to match the color of the sidewalk lights.

• Provide all necessary electrical conduit, wiring, and components to connect new bollard lights to the existing breaker box.

• Provide portable toilets.

• Bollard lights to be level and uniform in height.

This is a solicitation (RFQ) for commercial items, specifically "Walkway Light Repairs" at Defense Supply Center Richmond (DSCR).
