Statement of Work (SOW) / Performance Work Statement (PWS)

This Performance Work Statement (PWS) outlines the requirements for the demolition and abatement of Building B5907, a one-story, 570-square-foot wood-frame structure with a concrete foundation, located at Joint Base San Antonio (JBSA) Fort Camp Bullis.

• Demolish and remove all building materials, including above and below ground structures to a depth of three (3) feet.

• Remove concrete and asphaltic concrete paving and slabs to a depth of eight (8) inches below grade.

• Locate, disconnect, cap, and plug all overhead and underground utilities within five (5) feet of the building.

• Remove and dispose of all demolition debris, including excess soil, in accordance with environmental regulations.

• Abate all hazardous materials identified in the HazMat survey.

• Demolish concrete steps, sidewalks, rock pathways, and rock walls within designated demolition limits.

• Develop and submit a grading plan for the post-work site, including seeding and establishment of grass.

• Protect existing trees and utilities designated to remain.

• Work to be completed within a four-phase approach, within 90 days of contract award.

• All demolition debris and hazardous waste must be properly characterized, tested, manifested, and disposed of.

• A Hazardous Waste Management Plan and an Accident Prevention Plan must be submitted.

• Site restoration includes grading, seeding, and maintenance until vegetation is established.

• Progress reports are required weekly.

• The project is located at JBSA Fort Camp Bullis.

• The period of performance is 90 days from contract award.

• Contractor must possess a demolition contractor's license and registration by the State of Texas and be certified by appropriate Federal and State regulatory agencies.

• Employees must have required licenses or certifications for specific duties (e.g., hazardous waste).

• A Quality Control Plan must be submitted.
