Statement of Work (SOW) / Performance Work Statement (PWS)

This SOW outlines the requirements for the demolition of Building 4 at the National Center for Agricultural Utilization Research (NCAUR) in Peoria, Illinois, and the subsequent conversion of the site into an asphalt parking lot. Building 4 is an 842 sq ft structure built in 1943, previously used for property storage.

• Demolish Building 4 entirely, including its foundation, footers (to 2 feet below grade), and all structural components.

• Install a minimum of 4" of hot mix asphalt (HMA) using an IDOT approved N50 mix design, compacted to achieve minimum in-place density of 95%.

• Restore the grassed area west of Building 4 (if disturbed) with select fill and seeding, including watering and maintenance until grass is established.

• Provide safeguards during demolition, including warning signs, barricades, and temporary fences.

• Conduct a pre-demolition inspection to assess debris disposal methods.
