Statement of Work (SOW) / Performance Work Statement (PWS)

To outline the vendor's responsibilities for supplying dental lab workstations/casework for the Bakersfield VA Clinic.

• Provide brand name or equal dental lab workstations that meet or exceed specified physical, functional, and performance characteristics.

• Equipment must integrate gas, air, and electrical lines from a single utility panel.

• Specific finishes required: Sanded gray (solid surface) and gray for part# 475FINCOR, Staron ½”.

• Detailed list of included workstation components and cabinets provided, including sinks, drawers, wall cabinets, leg supports, and filler strips.

• Approximate workstation dimensions: 120”D x 120”W x 78”H.

• Quantity: 1 workstation.

• Standard manufacturer industry warranty term required; extended warranties requiring advance payment are not accepted.

• All items to be delivered and installed by 8/1/2026.

• Contractor is responsible for removing and properly disposing of all waste related to services provided.

• Vendor must ensure adequate LAN/Internet, data, information, and system security in accordance with VA standard operating procedures and regulations.

• Vendor’s firewall and web server must meet or exceed government minimum security requirements.

• All government data must be protected behind an approved firewall.

• Any security violations must be reported immediately.

• Contractor personnel requiring access to VA computer systems must undergo a background investigation and receive favorable adjudication.

• Delivery and installation deadline: 8/1/2026.

• Place of Delivery: Bakersfield VA Clinic, 900 Old River Rd. Bakersfield, CA 93311.

• Normal duty hours are 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays.

• One-time training to be provided by the contractor at the time of installation.

• Shipping costs for parts are included in the contract cost.

• Contractor shall not perform services resulting in additional charges without prior approval from the Contracting Officer.

• Payment upon receipt of a properly prepared invoice referencing the contract/PO number.

• Adherence to VA security clauses VAAR- 852.273-75 regarding information technology resources and personnel security (VA Directive 0710).

This notice is for market research purposes to understand vendor capabilities for providing a Dental Lab Workstation for the Bakersfield VA Clinic. It is not a solicitation or request for quotes.
