Purpose & Scope
The DAA will support INL/Lima by providing aviation expertise, program implementation, direction, and execution oversight. Key responsibilities include overseeing INL/Lima aviation program support, liaising with Government of Peru (GOP) aviation units, monitoring contractor performance in safety, maintenance, operations, and logistics, and assisting in the management of a diverse fleet of USG rotary and fixed-wing aircraft. The DAA will also help develop operational systems and procedures, implement INL/ACB/A programs, and assist in budget formulation and end-use monitoring of aviation commodities. The role requires coordination with GOP officials and interagency partners to build host nation capability in counternarcotics aviation operations.

Submission Requirements
Applicants must submit:

- Satisfactory Professional Reference Checks (Pass/Fail) Minimum qualifications include U.S. citizenship, a Secret level security clearance, a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent aviation experience), one year of U.S. government contracting experience, knowledge of FAA regulations, ten years as a military or civilian pilot, experience as an operations officer/manager in a high-threat environment, and proficiency in both Spanish and English.
